CRT Foundation, among whose missions is to support qualified research projects started by Piedmontese universities and regional research institutes, decided to intervene in a structured way in this specific sector by giving life in 2003 to the Lagrange Project.
The research area to be supported was identified by the name of The Challenge of Complex Systems, today a sort of paradigm of modernity in science.
In this context, the CRT Foundation, with the scientific coordination of the ISI Foundation, intends to establish the Lagrange Prize-Crt Foundation, dedicated to scientific research in the field of complexity sciences, its applications and divulgation.
Mark Newman is awarding the Lagrange Prize 2014.
The prize-awarding ceremony will take place in Turin on June 19th 2014 at 5.30 pm (Teatro Vittoria, via Gramsci, 4).
